The knockdowns and movement abilities are awesome in warfare. Get enough scoundrel to use the skills, 4-5 level of necro to have constant life drain and max warfare for overall damage increase. For your melees warfare is where most of your damage comes from, the 5% multiplier gets big. Pyro Geo works great and can really ramp up the damage. Being able to cast chicken or heal/frozen armor can be a life savor. Comeback kid is another one if you find survival to be an issue.Īs for your other class choices and even all classes 1 poly/1hydro is always a great investment. If you plan on nuking with your casters savage sortilege. The only talents I can suggest with any real impact for summoner/support would be the far out man (distance of spells increased by 2m). I played like this until Act 2 in another game and it worked really well. Totems can be used creatively like walls, and the poison ones will shoot Fane to heal him. Instead, use the Necro bloated corpse and the totems. If you're set on having Lohse be your healer and a summoner from the start - for the early game don't focus on the Incarnate summon. Summoners don't need Intelligence so he Summons and buffs his summons for the first round or two, then provides damage support from up high. He went to Summoner 10 ASAP then I focused on Huntsman and made him a ranged character. In my game, I'm running Fane as my Summoner. I've found that by Act 3, the Summoner wants to dip a little into all elements as you gain the ability to learn skills that can change the element of your summon but they require you to have that element learned. Necro/Summoner works really well as you gain access to one of the best summons in the game in Necro (Bone Widow). After that, your ideas sound great to me. The general consensus is to prioritize getting Summoner to 10 before branching out to other skills as the difference between Summoner 9 and Summoner 10 is huge. Summoner is the one tree that really doesn't awaken until you get to 10 points in the tree.
